I’m on Youtube!

Hello beautiful readers!

I’m so excited to share my very first Youtube video on my blog. I uploaded it yesterday and am quite happy with it.

It was quite funny filming and editing this actually. I have a few video clips (not in the video) of me laughing because I was so embarrassed. I was afraid my neighbors could see me through their window just talking to a camera. The intro was harder than I thought it would be. I had to redo it like 20 times (okay, it was much more than that.) I found a take I was happy with though so that’s all that matters.

Working with Adobe Premiere was fun and overwhelming. I managed to export a decent video though so I’m happy. I think my Mac is having a bit of trouble handling it and I did run into stuttering during playback which made editing difficult. The picture in picture is one of my favorite things about the video but after uploading to YouTube I noticed the transitions were quite fast. It was hard to tell in Premiere though due to the stuttering.

I notice things I want to add or change in my next video but it’s all a work in progress.

The video I exported from Premiere looks really nice and sharp but when uploaded to YouTube the quality changed and I still don’t understand why. My husband had a look this morning and said all my settings were right and it’s just something YouTube did. Hopefully in time I can figure out how to upload it to look like the exported version. Still decent quality though.

I really want to do a video tutorial of my nail polish display  because I loved it so much. So I’ll be doing that soon.

Today, I have so many things to do. I have a few blog layout “things” I want to work on but I also need to do some grocery shopping, shopping in general and fill out some applications. I still need a job.   I hear Dillard’s cosmetic counters are hiring soon so I’m keeping my fingers crossed.
