Yesterday could have been a very bad day….

Good Morning!

I’m so glad you stopped by. I woke up early today as I plan to have a very busy and productive day. First I have to tell you that that although the past couple days have been very productive (Yay!), they have also not been perfect. Monday I managed to get 90% of my to-do list done which was very exciting and yesterday I mainly finished editing my videos which was exciting for me as they had been in the editing stage for a few weeks.

My diet hasn’t been too healthy these past two days and I didn’t exercise yesterday. Boo! I also realized I am not good at multitasking as I nearly burnt my house down. Okay that’s an exaggeration but early in the day I was getting my lights set up for pictures and I accidentally half stepped on Little Love. She tends to fall asleep under the covers and is so small I didn’t realize she was there, I steps on what I’m certain was her rip area and she let out a terrible scream. It was quite a scarey moment for both of us. Thankfully I didn’t step down all the way and she was completely fine. After a good cry, many apologies, and cuddles and hugs I decided to treat her. Her teeth aren’t what they used to be so I had the “clever” idea to soften a rawhide while boiling water for coffee and well, it lay on a hot stove forgotten for a couple hours. My room door was half closed so I didn’t notice all the smoke and my nose sucks as I didn’t smell anything burning. Thankfully our house guest came home in time, noticed the obvious smoke and turned it off and removed the pot.

Yup! not my best moment. :/

On the bright side, I now know my smoke detectors need new batteries, Little Love is happy and playful and alive, I didn’t get a scolding from my husband for the smoke (which I clearly should have) and I still managed a productive day.

So, moving on.

I woke up early to upload one my videos only to find (once it was already uploaded) that I added the wrong background music and I had to take it down. Now I have to go back, add the correct music, and render it all over again which takes 2-3 hours, making my laptop unusable for that time. I’m not that upset though because I have other things to keep my busy today. EEEK!

I ordered some supplies for an exciting project over the weekend and it should be here today! YAY! I am beyond excited about this as this “Project” has been in the works for over a year now and it’s taken a while to figure out how to create the foundation. After months and hours upon hours of research I came across a material that I am 99% sure is going to work. I cannot begin to explain just how much this means to me and how excited I am. If all goes well I should be able to reveal my project by the end of the month. Eeshk!
