I’ve had my WordPress blog for 2 months already TWO! During this time my blog was a little off. 90% of my blog is bluish/greenish, which is the color I wanted for my whole blog. My header however was a raspberry color. Seeing as I’m a total noob to WordPress, blogging and websites in general I had absolutely no idea how to fix it.
If you remember me saying in my Blogger to WordPress post a while back, the StudioPress forum was completely useless to me. It was so not helpful and it drove me mad.
After trying to figure it out time after time and searching endlessly on the internet for answers I was fed up and left it as is. Every once in a while I would try again but never had any luck.
So last night it was nearing my bed time when I decided to give it another go. I searched and searched and after a 3 hours I finally found what I was looking for. FINALLY!!!!! A one line code was all I needed to make switching the colors a cinch.
What do you think?!?! Isn’t it wonderful. Ah! You have no idea how excited I am. I am so proud of myself and I’m so thankful to CalendarGirl on the forum. Her comment was a couple of years old but it did the job for me and I couldn’t be happier.
Now if only I can get a nicer logo. Lol.
While I’m here sharing my joy I want to apologize to all my subscribers for the accidental spamming earlier. While trying to figure all this out I came across a plug-in that promised to add all my old comments from my blogger account. You know how we all love comments and I was sad when I lost them during the move so I gave it a try. It did what it said it would but it also transferred all my old blog posts; which is what you saw in the RSS feed. I’m really sorry about that. It was 100% accidental. If it makes you feel any better it took me a couple hours work to get rid of everything it transferred. :/
It’s crazy that I didn’t find that plug-in during my move though, it would have saved me the trouble of transferring it over myself one by one.
Ah well, that’s life.

Update: I figured out how to change my logo. haha. Only took me 2 hours to get it just right.

Congratulations! I have this same theme and whenever I figure how to change something out on my own, I feel like a genius! lol I like the blue, it’s pretty! found your blog on the theme forum!
Thank you!! It’s true! Although it’s frustrating I feel so proud of myself for figuring it out on my own in the end. Takes a lot longer to get things done but it also saves me money from not having to hire someone to do it for me. It can get expensive quick.

I love the colors! I’ve got tons to learn on my WordPress site too. Seems like I just never have time to do the research and hard work.:)
